Profile

Creating things has been the guiding passion in my life. Twenty years ago I brought that passion to the arts. I am still finding new ways to maximize the potential of polymer clay in my sculpture, and although there is a love of painting in my family, I am fairly new to this challenging medium.

I live in Salt Lake City, UT with my wife and two bossy cats. The West has always been my home; I was born and spent my early years in Oregon. This is the place where I connect with nature and the little pieces of wild that still remain. This is the place where I live in a mid-size city and enjoy the conveniences, comforts, and frustrations of city life. This is the place that shapes and informs my life and my art.
